Hello everyone! I’m Deb, a Nashville photographer, yoga teacher and writer with more than 10 years experience in weddings, portraits, events, and fine art photography.
If I am not behind my computer doing photo editing, most of the time you’ll find me outside, enjoying my coffee, cuddling up with my two cats, or at the yoga studio, where I teach several classes each week. I’m an outdoorsy boho kind of girl, I listen to indie rock, jazz, and blues, and I love my two fur people who happen to be feline. My favorite way to spend time is to sit outside, watch the clouds, sip a drink, and simply enjoy the sounds of nature 🌿.
As a native Nashville photographer, I am always excited to find new and exciting places to shoot our beautiful city. There are so many awesome possibilities — we have lakes, farmland, parks, beautiful bridges, urban skylines and yes, even honky tonks! Nashville is truly a unique and welcoming city, and I love working and living here!
More than a Nashville photographer…
In 2017, after eight years of regular yoga practice, I completed my YRT-200 training to be able to teach yoga! While yoga has kept me healthier and better able to manage life’s ups and downs, I believe it helps my clients as well. My yoga training helps everyone to relax and feel at ease, which brings out the best in everyone. 🙏🏼
Currently my family and I enjoy a relaxing pace of life in Brentwood, TN, just south of downtown Nashville. We enjoy walking and biking, watching movies (at home), and cuddling and playing with our two enormously furry felines. Since 2020, we’ve also taken up a fair amount of birdwatching as well!
Whether I’m photographing a wedding, a family gathering, senior portraits or ideas for a branding shoot, my aim is to help you feel as relaxed as possible. We can keep it light, joke around, have fun, and just enjoy the process of collaborating ☺️.
So that’s a bit about me, in a nutshell. Thanks for stopping by; I’d love to chat anytime. Peace and namaste. 🕉
