Hey seniors, let’s talk senior portraits! You’ve been waiting for this year for so long, right? And while you’ve already accomplished so much, and there is so much ahead. Why not celebrate this chapter with a fun, fresh senior portrait session!
Forget cliches and cookie-cutter senior poses. It’s time for your senior to shine and be themselves. Concerned about awkwardness? (Aren’t we all!?) No worries! I provide plenty of guidance and modeling direction to make sure you feel comfortable and at ease.
The important thing to remember is that we are all different — and our uniqueness is what makes us human and special. I love to take the time to get to know a little bit about each senior prior to the session –whether it’s from an interview intake form or a conversation by phone, so we can establish expectations and put everyone at ease well in advance.
Furthermore, I have years of experience with lighting, angles, and using the right gear to ensure your senior portraits bring out the best. (And light retouching is also available to ensure small blemishes are easily wiped away.)
Most importantly, we design your senior portrait session to be fun, carefree, creative and most of all — authentic. Every senior session is “made from scratch,” which means we create images that genuinely capture your senior’s personality, passions, and spirit. We can build a session around nearly any interest: sports, music, friends, fashion, horses — you name it!
Booking a senior portrait session
I offer one, two, and three-hour senior portrait packages, to allow for multiple locations and creative ideas. I even have group packages available for up to three friends to kick back, laugh, and enjoy together!
Senior portrait locations
Where can we go for your senior portrait session? The sky is the limit (almost!) We can plan to meet up at one of the area parks such as The Park at Harlinsdale Farm, Percy Warner, or Centennial Park, or we can explore an urban location near downtown or in historic Franklin. We can also meet up at my studio for some beautiful portraits with studio lighting. Or nearly anywhere else you might think of!
The key to success is planning ahead! Senior year comes up fast! If you need photos for a yearbook or family for gifts, then just let me know your deadline! I often book senior photos six months or more in advance. Class of 2023 and 2024 is booking now, so contact me soon to custom-design a session for your soon-to-be graduating son or daughter.
