Evening Glow for Nashville Elopement

Life’s twists and turns are unpredictable and as Ryan and Tamera can attest, you never know when a curve in the road will lead to the partner of your dreams. But once it happens, there’s nothing like a beautiful sunset evening to tie the knot as you make it legal with a Nashville elopement.

There were certainly many bends in the road that each of them traveled before eventually finding love together. Tamera and Ryan met in 2020 when she went through training to become a security guard and Ryan was the instructor. Both were involved in other relationships at the time; both relationships eventually ended.

A turn of events led to love

Tamera found Ryan again on social media, they re-connected, and the sparks began to kindle. Soon both realized they truly had found their soulmate. A month after they began dating, however, disaster struck. As many in Nashville will remember the horrific flood in 2021, devasted Waverly, Tennessee, Tamera’s home town. The disaster made national headlines as it destroyed the majority of the town’s structures and property as well as 20 lives.

Ryan offered his home as a haven to Tamera and her two young children. Soon they began piecing life back together, but this time as a family.

Tying the knot

I met Ryan and Tamera last month at the beautiful garden at Centennial Park to capture their romantic Nashville elopement. Tamera’s two children, her parents, and other family members surrounded the couple in loving support. The summer flowers were in full bloom and the sun created the perfect evening glow for their vow ceremony.

Once they said their I do’s, we explored Centennial Park during the most beautiful time of day: golden hour. The perfect recipe for romantic photos involves soft and glowing light. I love photographing elopement couples in Centennial because there are so many romantic nooks and backgrounds and plenty of shade. Plus the softness of the leaves and flowers help create beautiful frames and “peek-a-boo” windows to shoot through! Nashville elopements at Centennial Park offer so many possibilities, especially at sunset!

I loved working with Ryan and Tamera because not only were they obviously head over heels in love, but they were also playful with each other. This always helps to create spontaneous, candid laughs and giggles and adds so much joy to the session.

Below I hope you enjoy the highlights from this wonderful romantic, sunset Nashville elopement. If you and your beloved want to create some beautiful images like these, just reach out anytime and we can make it happen too!
