Would you like a better alternative for kid’s sports photos without all the stress?
We’ve all been there. It’s picture day for your child’s sports team and it’s mass chaos. Making sure they are there on time and uniform clean is the first hurdle. But then once you arrive, there are hundreds of kids milling about with order forms in their hands. Rain or shine, windy or soggy, those pics are going to happen one way or another. You just hope that maybe your child will smile during that split second when it’s their turn to step on their mark and face the camera. And… you get what you get.
But, I have another idea for you. What if your child could be captured in a way that really brought out their personality and how they felt about their passion? Honestly… that’s nearly impossible in a split second during mass photo events. But within just 30 minutes in my natural light studio, we can really make some magic!
One of my newest session offerings this year are Kiddo Sports Photos. These are short, dedicated sports-themed sessions designed to allow children to be themselves and express who they are and what they love about their sport! Photos will be taken in a clean, white studio space to keep the creative focus on them and their personality. I guarantee that we’ll create something truly special that captures that gleam of happiness and heartfelt passion for their chosen game or talent. Whether your child is a pitcher or a dancer, a kiddo sports session will be a perfect fit.
A safe and creative environment
Importantly, like most adults, kids need a little time to warm up. One of the things I love best about any type of portrait is creating a space and environment where my subjects feel at home — because only then can their true personalities shine. This is even more important when you are building a trusting relationship with a child.
And remember…. as all parents know, these days are fleeting. Each year brings new interests and opportunities. It seems we merely blink before they are stepping out of one chapter to begin a new on.
