As I sit back and look over Tracey & Max’s warm autumn engagement photos, I cannot help but grin. Like, ear to ear. These two are so obviously smitten that the happiness meter goes right to 10!
Tracey and Max’s romance has grown steadily for the past two years, centering on their passion for the outdoors, travel, and extreme triathlon competitions! (There must be something about running through heat, mud, and muck that bonds two people together!) Max is a marine biologist and Tracey is a registered dietician, so they both have a focus on healthy living. They currently live in Jackson, TN, and are excitedly planning their spring wedding at the historic Cool Springs House in Brentwood, TN.
Emotion that’s warm and real
This session is a great example of how I love to work with couples in their engagement session. We find a fun location, use beautiful light to our best advantage, and let the magic just happen. Of course, I do a little directing, but I mainly love to see organic reactions and expressions just bubble up! You can take one look at these warm autumn engagement images and just tell that Tracey and Max absolutely adore each other! And even though I have shot at Marcella Vivrette Smith Park several times before, I always seem to find fantastic new angles and creative areas there.
Engagement sessions are the best
So if you are on the fence about whether or not to do an engagement session, let me just offer this. There is no better time to get to know your photographer–and to let them get to know YOU! We find out what makes each other laugh, I learn more about who you are as a couple, and it makes the wedding day much more of a breeze! I always love engagement sessions because they are fun, relaxed, and creative!
